the brief

Development of a creative concept and multiple campaign executions to drive awareness and encourage usage of Brisbane City Council’s newly improved severe weather ‘Early Warning Alert Service’ online tool.

the strategy

TD developed a creative concept that visually communicated the limited time individuals have to take action in the event of severe weather, and the importance of being prepared.

The demanding visual was supported by a simple headline, with the use of a bold typographical treatment that strongly prompted individuals to take action. A phone asset was incorporated into the artwork to further drive the alert service digital platform.

The campaign was executed across a range of channels, including billboards, digital advertisements (MRECs, leaderboards, superheroes, OTP), display videos, flyers and posters.
